Following military retirement he worked for 14 years as a corporate manager and continues to serve as a volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of the US Air Force. He completed his 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2014 and Veterans Yoga Project level 1 training that same year. Rick teaches meditation and movement with the breath for stress relief. His goal is to assist veterans and other victims of trauma by providing mindful resilience training programs in the Lake Norman and Charlotte, NC area.
