Perry ran a small, high tech business for 35 years.  He stumbled into a yoga class in 2003 and never looked back.  He completed a 225-hour teacher-training program in 2011 and completed his Veterans Yoga Project teacher training in 2014.  His interest is in yoga therapy and bringing the vast benefits of yoga to people of all ages.  In addition to teaching veterans, Perry teaches introductory yoga workshops for men, and has worked with people with Parkinson’s disease, and people with cancer.  His classes are focused on healthy alignment coupled with a light-hearted sense of humor.

Perry’s father was a WWII Navy Veteran who worked nearly his entire career with the Navy Department and industries developing solutions for the Department of Defense.  After serving in the Navy, his father developed flight guidance systems and landing gear for carrier-based aircraft and was part of the Polaris submarine development team.  Perry grew up surrounded by his father’s involvement with the military.  Honoring his father’s service, through the Veterans Yoga Project, Perry is proud to now be serving those who have served.
