Perry is a Certified Yoga Therapist, and 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher.  He completed his Veterans Yoga Project Mindful Resilience Training in 2014 and has been teaching classes to veterans ever since.  His interest is in yoga therapy and bringing the vast benefits of yoga to people of all ages.  In addition to teaching veterans, Perry teaches yoga for back health, yoga for Parkinson Disease, yoga for cancer treatment and recovery, and yoga for seniors.  His classes are focused on holding the space and sharing the practice, coupled with a light-hearted sense of humor.

Perry’s father was a WWII Navy Veteran who worked nearly his entire career with the Navy Department and industries developing solutions for the Department of Defense.  After serving in the Navy, his father developed flight guidance systems and landing gear for carrier-based aircraft and was part of the Polaris submarine development team.  Perry grew up surrounded by his father’s involvement with the military.  Through the Veterans Yoga Project, in honor his father’s service, Perry is proud to now be serving those who have served.
