EVA SAGOLILEH / DEARBORN, MI
Born and raised in the DC Metro, Eva was instilled by her parents with what appears to be a lifelong passion for writing, learning, traveling, and teaching, as well as using her skills to be of service to others. After traveling a bit and serving in the Israeli Army, Eva decided to make Michigan her new home. She is near completion of her base 200 hour yoga teacher training, after which, she plans to work primarily with military veterans and survivors of domestic violence.
When not working or studying, Eva enjoys gardening, dancing, reading, writing, hiking, and spending time at both the archery and gun range. She also volunteers with Burners without Borders in Detroit with whom she puts together bookbags of winter supplies to be distributed to the homeless. Lastly, she volunteers with the Detroit Reading Corp through which she tutors children in reading and writing.
